The China Line collates and analyses information on contemporary Chinese politics, policy and social phenomena. I also post reflections and photos from my Asian travels and occasionally stray dramatically off-topic. I spend my time between China and Australia, but predominantly in the latter. Some of my other writing is available on the (appropriately named) Writing page.

I am a graduate of the Australian National University in Asian Studies and have also studied at Liaoning and Renmin University in China. I am currently studying a Master of Law, Governance and Development at the ANU. In 2008, I co-founded the Australia-China Youth Association, which runs the annual Australia-China Youth Dialogue. Presently, I am the Australia Country Manager for China Policy. Of course, views expressed here are in no way connected to the views of ACYA, ACYD or China Policy.
